Located a stone’s throw away from the John Wayne Marina, Daybreak Meadows is a perfect place to live if you have a boat or love spending your sunny days on the scenic Sequim Bay. The great film legend John Wayne was a frequent visitor to Sequim Bay aboard the family yacht, the “Wild Goose.” Mr. Wayne was so captured by the untouched natural elegance of Sequim Bay and how it would be a perfect location for a marina, he donated the land in 1975 and construction began. The main Marina building has a collection of John Wayne memorabilia on display and the destination also offers great picnic areas, public beach access, kayaking and restaurants.
